Main Responsibilities - This job description indicates on the main duties and responsibilities of the post. It is not intended as an exhaustive list.**- To support the class teacher effectively.

To effectively deliver the curriculum ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members).
Support all staff and be an effective and collaborative team member.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate daytoday caring and learning needs.
To ensure the provision of a highquality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories.
To undertake duties as directed by the Head of Pre-Prep adhering to school procedures.
To advise the Head of Pre-Prep of any concerns e.g. over children, parents, the safety of the environment, preserving confidentiality as necessary.
To be flexible within working practices of the setting undertaking additional responsibilities when needed such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleaning of equipment etc.
To read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to the role and the safe running of the Pre-Prep.
Attend out of hours activities as necessary, e.g. training, open mornings, staff meetings, parents' evenings, playsheme, school fairs and similar.
Maintain complete confidentiality at all times regarding any information relating to children, their families or other staff.
To ensure excellent standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
