Meraki Talent are delighted to be supporting one of Scotland's leading Accountancy Firms with the appointment of a Corporate Finance Executive.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Corporate Finance team by adding a motivated, self-starter looking to make their first step into the highly coveted world of Corporate Finance.
The Role
A unique opportunity for a part qualified or newly qualified Accountancy professional, currently working towards an Accountancy qualification, ACCA or CA.
This position will involve a full 360 Corporate Finance work including Financial Modelling, Valuation work, due diligence, M&A, on both buy side and sell side transactions.
- Involved in high level projects, including preparation of financial models, business plans, valuations and other business advisory projects
- Being part of a team delivering full disposal, acquisition and fundraising engagements from orientation through to execution
- Supporting the Partner and Senior Leadership Group in delivering high quality advice and reports for a range of clients
- Supporting the Managers in preparing financial due diligence reports for Partner review
- Involved in new business development activities for the team through internal and external networking
- Assisting in the ongoing development of department and wider team
Experience Required
- Graduate or part qualified (CA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience in corporate finance is not required, however have an interest in and aptitude for corporate finance work is desired
- Excellent Microsoft Office and financial modelling skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
- Willing to take part in marketing and business development activities and desire to build a network of contacts
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent technical knowledge and a proactive approach to learning and CPD
