Our Environment and Energy department is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant. This is a new role within the team which will be key to helping deliver our sustainability targets.

It is a full time role however send us a note or drop us a line if you like the sound of the position but you need part time hours.


Your Tasks

  • Perform an administrative function to the Environment and Energy department.
  • Deal with general and specific queries, liaising with both internal and external parties.
  • Organise and maintain accurate reports and records of all department activities, ensuring that accurate information is produced as required.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Demonstrate professional competence and development by keeping skills up to date and in providing evidence of continuing professional and technical development.
  • Attend training courses and meetings as necessary.
  • Maintain an administrative and orderly system for the function.

Our Requirements

  • Good standard of secondary education
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in a job related role preferred.
  • One day Health and Safety course.
  • Must be well organised, efficient, personable and have a good, confident telephone manner.
