A welcoming children's centre in Plaistow are looking for a level 3 trained Early Years Educator to join them to support both children and families attached to the centre.

The role

In this role you will be based in the children's centre supporting a range of children and their families across various activities and initiatives.

Your role will involve preparing and planning engaging activities for children in line with the Early YearsFoundation, running play & stay sessions, workshops, baby checks etc.

You will have direct contact with children ranging from birth to 4 years and should have a good knowledge of early years development.

Part of your role will include working directly withfamilies, providing them with support and access to additional parenting and childcare services and support.

The Children'sCentre
This purpose-built children's centre is in a separate building within the grounds of a primary school.
The centre provides services and support for under 5s and their families through a range of community support programmes.

There are good facilities andthere is a focus on outdoor play to support children's emotional health development of imagination and independence.

The centre work closely with families and carry out home visits and work in the community as required. The dedicated, qualified and friendlyteam are led by an experienced manager and there are good opportunities for professional development.

The children's centre are looking for an Early Years Educator to start as soon as possible.

The role is offered on a contract basis initially with the view to becoming a permanent post in the future.
