PHP developer contract opportunity

Amber resourcing have partnered with a leading SaaS company with offices across the UK.

Ideally you'll be able to come into the office in Bristol, but fully remote work is also fine.

You'll need to come into the office for a minimum of 1 day to onboard with the role at the start.

This will be an outside IR35 contract, with a day rate of £ per day. The contract will be an initial 3 months with the possibility of renewal.

The company's hiring team are looking to onboard a talented PHP developer with a history of successful commercial experience. You'll be reporting to the lead developer and happy working in a scrum setting via regular Microsoft teams meetings.


What the job consists of:

  • Updating PHP code and analysing software, making enhancements
  • Working with APIs
  • Collaborating with the development team and communicating effectively to resolve bugs and errors in the software

Key skills required:

  • PHP and solid proficiency in frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Zend etc.)
  • Proficiency with JavaScript


  • Front end skills

  • HTML, CSS
  • Experience working with APIs
  • More than 5 years of commercial experience
