This administrative role primarily focuses on supporting the membership, compliance, and learning & development offer within Girlguiding Anglia
.

Working closely with an experienced and passionate team of volunteers and supported by a professional & skilled staff team. Ensuring our members have the opportunities and support needed to enable them to offer inspiring guiding to girls and young women across Anglia.

Purpose of the role


In a volunteer-led organisation, as a member of the Girlguiding Anglia membership experience team, you will be the key staff partner for the volunteer learning and development team.

This role is responsible for project coordination and training delivery, as well as supporting and advising the volunteer team on compliance requirements and targets.


Strong organisational and communication skills are essential as the role sits within several networks across county, regional and national teams.

You will be required to represent Girlguiding Anglia within numerous project groups, communicating with diverse audiences.


Main areas of responsibility

  • Main administration and project support for the volunteer learning and development team, including: support the development and delivery of Girlguiding's learning platform, support the qualification process and ongoing renewal of trainers in the Anglia region, and work in partnership with volunteers to ensure relevant and timely support and training is in place for new leaders completing the leader development programme.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate meetings and training sessions.
  • Support training event management across the membership team. This may include updating the region's website and using relevant booking software such as Eventbrite.
  • Draft organisation papers and documents.
  • Maintain and review business process systems when relevant to the role.
  • Access and maintain the accuracy of relevant records within the Girlguiding membership customer relationship system (GO CRM).
  • Work collaboratively with the membership experience committee to ensure appropriate communication and promotion of member opportunities.
  • Liaise with the region finance team in managing allocated budgets and risks associated with the delivery of the learning and development programme.
  • When relevant, work with Girlguiding's national and other regional teams to provide key insight and member feedback on relevant projects.
  • Be the region's staff lead in supporting volunteer compliance and safeguarding obligations. Communicating data and insight to relevant audiences.
  • Maintain networks with key region and county volunteers, national staff teams and other regional peers.

Salary:
£18,964.00-£19,900.00 per year
