Job purpose
Do you have experience developing targeted and effective marketing communications material and campaigns, both online and offline? Do you have the skills to oversee a social media-led campaign? Are you comfortable managing online paid advertising for a range of products and services?


This role would suit an experienced marketing executive with an understanding of the higher education industry and a working knowledge of graphic design software.


You will work alongside a growing team, with some brilliant existing and emerging talent in house, as well as agency and freelance support in performance marketing, PR, design & comms and web development.

Main duties and responsibilities
Collateral development, Sales Toolkits development during Production Season

  • Support the design, development, print production and delivery of digital and sales toolkits for key partners within the University Partnerships division and other Oxford International brands as needed, ensuring collateral is highquality, accurate and adapted to specific audiences, where required.
Customer centricity and market research

  • Assist in conducting market research to understand how audiences engage with us and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies, platforms and trends in communications.
  • Advise the team on emerging opportunities and ways to exploit them.
  • Analyse, understand and optimise customer journeys, providing reports to the team to inform, measure and refine marketing campaigns.
Student nurture, qualification & conversion

  • Support on student nurturing initiatives where you will need to know how to engage with prospective students, understand their needs and use this to produce content that helps conversion.
  • Audiences are both students and the agent network.
Digital campaigns & performance marketing

  • Execute digital marketing campaigns and manage the set up and production of engaging digital and social content for a range of channels for the University Partnerships division.
Social media management

  • Manage social media channels through the relevant management tool, overseeing University Partnership social media channels, planning, developing and implementing engaging content and providing social media training.
  • Report on metrics on the website and social channels regularly for further refinement.
Web content updates & content development

  • Maintain up to date and relevant content that is shared across different channels (including written versions and those stored on the marketing portal), ensuring a digital first approach and one 'version of truth'.
  • Maintain and optimise relevant Oxford International websites and data, identifying and making updates, monitoring and following web accessibility best practice and working with partners to enhance profile.
  • Produce content regularly that promotes student success stories, staff (teaching and admin.) endeavours, agent success, events happening across the group and at our partner institutions which will be shared across Oxford International's network.
Key liaison

  • Be the main point of contact for marketing administration requests such as website updates, marketing portal support, marketing collateral distribution and business card requests.
  • Be the main point of contact for key University Partners, providing professional marketing support and advice to internal and university colleagues.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities commensurate with the grade of the post which may be required from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a degree level

Experience and knowledge

  • Previous experience of working in a marketing role;
  • Experience in producing marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers and presentations;
  • Experience in creating content for marketing;
  • Experience of building integrated digital marketing campaigns for a range of channels;
  • Experience of running paid campaigns and an understanding of how to optimise ads;
  • Experience of website management; using WordPress or other similar content management systems; including integration of SEO strategies and web accessibility best practice to improve effectiveness;
