Description
Senior Customer Service and Trader

March 2024

Who are we?

We're an online betting company launched in 2021 by a group of people who love sport. Our aim is to try our best to take people's bets whether they be large or small. And we want our customers to feel valued and enjoy dealing with us. It should be fun, right? We're a new (ish) company that's going places, which means you will too.

What would you do?

In this role, you'd help manage our customer services and support both our trading and marketing teams. The most important part of this job is to keep our customers happy. If they're happy, we're happy. Here's a bit more on what you'll do day to day;

  • Help our customers sort out any issues they have. This is the main bit.
  • Not surprisingly, lots of the issues our customers have are to do with the bets they have placed. So, you'll need to be able to look into and fix these types of issues.
  • Provide a supporting role for trading bets across multiple sporting events, including accepting clients' bets and dealing with any client queries.
  • Be on the alert to spot any issues with markets or bets as they arise.
  • Become a whiz on our customer service software
  • Freshdesk which neatly organizes the issues, and keeps track of who they came from and how we're responding.
  • Hand over to our overnight team to make sure we don't drop the ball on any customer queries.
  • Work well with other teams to resolve customer issues, such as technical support and compliance (the team who enforce the rules).
  • Help make sure our customers enjoy using our services responsibly.
  • Help set up and maintain our CRM software.
  • Help to manage our overseas team ensuring they're keeping our customers happy.
Would we be a good match?

To be our perfect match, you'll:

  • Have a passion for customer service and helping people.
  • Have worked in a customer service team and/or a sports betting trading team before (and enjoyed it)
  • Understand the world of betting.
  • Be a good writer and communicator, writing in a way that feels clear, friendly and warm.
  • Be good in a team.
  • Know a bit about computers, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Be keen to learn.
  • Have a positive outlook.
Even if you don't tick all of the boxes, please don't be afraid to apply. We're looking for the right person who'll fit into our team and who really cares about helping customers

What can you expect from us?
