Description
What is the job role?
Tiverton School is a small Primary Special Needs school.

We have 121 pupils on roll who come from Coventry and all have an EHC Plan of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Our pupils are at the heart of all we do.

We are increasing our pupil numbers from September 2024 to 131 and we are seeking both casual and permanent Teaching Assistants to join our school.

The positions offer flexible working hours to accommodate individual childcare schedules or university timetables.

We were graded 'Good' in our most recent OFSTED inspection.

We already have a large number of committed staff, who share the school vision:

"Passionate about celebrating learning, enjoyment and achievement for all"
The Headteacher and Governors recognise the immense and valuable role played by all staff at the school.

The role of the Teaching Assistant (TA) at Tiverton is invaluable in supporting the teaching, learning, care and behaviour for all pupils across the primary school.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for Teaching Assistants interested in casual positions to provide sickness cover. You can be on call and inform us of your availability.

Additionally, we are seeking Teaching Assistants interested in working specific days each week to support Senior Support staff during teacher non-contact time.

We can be flexible with both roles on the hours. These can be between 8.30am - 3pm.

Wednesday 22nd May 2023

Interview date:
Week Commencing 3rd June 2024
