Animal welfare and sustainability are the cornerstone of Aviagen's selection process in broilers and turkeys.

To support our commitment to welfare we have a fanatic NEW opportunity for a Global Welfare and Compliance Auditor to join our team.

This role reports directly to our Global Vice President for Welfare, Sustainability & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Planning, logistics and execution of welfare audits
Benchmark and provide ongoing training for internal welfare auditors
Participate in companywide forums to address operational issues
Gather, summarize and report data and information about welfare improvements
Familiarise with welfare, sustainability and audit developments and opportunities globally
Develop and maintain an understanding of the welfare laws & requirements required across the globe with the aim of becoming the key resource
In cooperation with the Global Vice President Welfare, Sustainability & Compliance, further develop welfare and sustainability improvements across Aviagen Group
Represent Aviagen Group both internally and externally on welfare & compliance
Undertake other functions as selfdetermined
