    Description

    Joining Yorkshire Water as an Industrial Electrician means being part of a team that delivers essential services to the people and communities of Yorkshire. We make sure over 5.4 million people have clean and safe drinking water, and their wastewater is taken away.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Undertake maintenance of Yorkshire Waters Electrical and Mechanical assets across Energy & Recycling sites
    • Work in remote geographic locations, unsupervised, managing and prioritizing workload effectively
    • Build and maintain relationships with operational customers, colleagues, suppliers, and contract partners
    • Supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements when necessary
    • Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant, specifying parts and equipment required for procurement

    Requirements:

    • Recognized Electrical Craft/Technician Apprenticeship and relevant qualifications
    • Full valid driving license, with no more than six points
    • Experience in safe isolation to current IET regulations, fault finding on control circuits up to PLC level, and maintaining UPS systems
    • IT literacy, ability to produce maintenance reports, and experience with rotating equipment
