About the role Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for a General Maintenance Operative to join our Maintenance Team.

You will be responsible for service and repairs, fault finding, and general maintenance to all systems to current regulations at Anfield Stadium.


What will you be doing?

  • Undertake general maintenance, fault finding, and repair works at Anfield.
  • Undertake general site PPMs at Anfield.
  • Provide stadium management with recommendations for life cycle replacements and system upgrades to help forecast budgets expenditure.
  • On match/ event days, work alongside the broader stadium operations team to facilitate outstanding service delivery across the entire stadium, ensuring the best possible supporter experience in all areas.
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize workload depending on relevant fixtures and events week by week.
  • Manage and oversee external contractors ensuring their works are satisfactorily completed with minimum disruption to the business.
  • Maintaining suitable inventories of tools, spares, and consumables.
  • Assist in fostering a supportive and proactive outlook towards the business, all departments, and the core functions of the Club.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload using the CAFM System to ensure all works are logged, considering out of hours functions and match days at Anfield.
  • Any other duties reasonably expected of the post.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a multi-skilled operative with previous experience of onsite maintenance works.

You will have a varied skill set in general maintenance works and tasks, and have a full, clean driver's license.

IPAF Mobile Platform Operation License and PASMA Mobile Scaffold Erection License would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
