Job description:
An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Warcop Camp, Cumbria, which is part of the Defence Training Estate.
As the Site Operative you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning on the estate at our Warcop Camp, you will be part of small but dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.
- General maintenance
- Grounds maintenance
- Soft FM
- Driving and operating fleet vehicles
- General and recyclable cleaning duties on Camp
- Collecting, sorting, sifting and managing all site waste
- To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective site delivery e.g. handover/ take back of facilities
- Knowledge of health and safety
- COSHH
- Have a full drivers licence valid in the United Kingdom
- Basic IT skills
- Willingness to undertake full training
- Existing qualifications would be helpful but not essential; training provided
- Take time to take care of yourself, look out for yourself and others, stop and stepin if you need to
- Always do the right thing, not just the easy thing; integrity in all that we do at work and at home
