Job description:


An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Warcop Camp, Cumbria, which is part of the Defence Training Estate.


As the Site Operative you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning on the estate at our Warcop Camp, you will be part of small but dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • General maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance
  • Soft FM
  • Driving and operating fleet vehicles
  • General and recyclable cleaning duties on Camp
  • Collecting, sorting, sifting and managing all site waste
  • To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective site delivery e.g. handover/ take back of facilities
What you can do

  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • COSHH
  • Have a full drivers licence valid in the United Kingdom
  • Basic IT skills
  • Willingness to undertake full training
  • Existing qualifications would be helpful but not essential; training provided

This position is on a permanent, part-time position, based on 20 hours per week. You may be required to work weekend, this would always be given on prior notice.
