We are recruiting for a Dry Side Activities Assistant to join our fun and friendly team on a casual contract basis. The hours of work will be dependant on the needs of the business and individual availability;
weekend work will be a requirement for this role. Working hours will be discussed and agreed with the Manager.
Work may be undertaken across all children's activities to include Jump 'n' Play, Parties, Kids Club, supervised/coached children's activities and classes.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Co-ordinate all requirements of children's activities to ensure a safe and secure environment for all children attending to include leading games and activities as appropriate to age range and theme.
Undertake all duties ensuring safety precautions are of the utmost priority and demonstrating the appropriate standards of performance and attitude at all times.
Be responsible for ensuring all elements of Jump 'n' Play, Parties, Kids Club, supervised/coached children's activities, and classes are undertaken in a timely and professional manner, providing a high standard of customer service to all customers to encourage repeat and new business.
Ensure all equipment is appropriately set up and safe for use and in good time for the session to start.
Report to the Duty Manager with any relevant information and assist communications with the rest of the team.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people by ensuring adherence to relevant Club procedures regarding Safeguarding.
Behave appropriately when undertaking children's activities at all times and be mindful of the potential problems that may arise when working with children.

Other Duties:

Observe Health and Safety and Fire regulations.
Comply with Company policies.
Attend staff meetings and training as required.

Person Specification:

A good general education up to at least GCSE standard.
