Description
Join our newly created Planning Department for the delivery of Centralised Planning Functions at Direct Table. In this role you will be planning for our Sausage department, reporting directly to our new Head of Planning.


The role tasks include the following:

  • Operating a Bespoke set of tools tailor to Direct Tables requirements
  • Mange Customer / Commercial Forecast using newly developed tools to provide accurate medium range demand data to generate weekly plans
  • Encompassing the planning of Raw Materials, Packaging and Ingredients for specified Department
  • Scheduling of Incoming Deliveries to achieve a Just In Time operation to satisfy Customer Demand
  • Scheduling of Daily Work Streams to provide achievable plan
  • Liaising with Operational, Technical Compliance and Engineering departments to facilitate Production, Hygiene and Maintenance schedules
  • Working closely with our Master Data team for provision of core planning data

Skills Experience required for this role:

  • Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders


  • Computer literate

  • Excel, MS Office
  • Able to demonstrate a broad business awareness
  • Full training provided to operate and maintain planning tools
  • Cross Function Training to provide cover for all work streams

What we can offer you:

Salary up to £30,000
