WORKSHOP ASSISTANT
The Light Lab are a tight knit, sociable team, with a high importance placed on staff welfare and team social activities.
The growing team are currently looking for a hard-working, organised & self-motivated individual to join the team as a
Workshop Assistant, reporting directly to the Head of Production and assisting the workshop manager.
The role is full time and based at our workshop in Elephant & Castle - with working hours of 7am-3:30pm.

Key responsibilities include:_
Workshop organisation - tasks such as tidying, stock inventory, packaging
Preparation and packing of project site installation materials
Assisting with mock-up design and builds
Workshop organisation - tasks such as tidying, stock inventory, packaging
Project specific tasks - such as assembly, soldering electronics etc.
Deliveries & collections
Project preparation and manufacturing
Sample prototyping
Stock cataloguing and inventory

What we are looking for:_
1-2 years experience in a similar role as a technician/assistant in a busy workshop environment is essential; alongside experience on project/site work.
A team player, with strong attention to detail, who can work to their own initiative and become an integral part of a growing, independent company.

£22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
