Wildlings Preschool offers term time care and education in Barby village and the surrounding area for children aged 2- 4 years.

We are based in Barby Primary School and are a small 15 place setting with a close knit team of staff.

Our staff are expected to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and eager to support the learning of all children in the setting.

We are looking for people who are fun, imaginative and have a good sense of humour to join our team.

We pride ourselves in partnership working especially with our families so we require an excellent communicator who can work alongside our families in a sensitive and supportive manner.

Position 1:
This position is Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 3:30pm, term time only. Staff will also be expected to attend staff meetings outside of these hours at least once per half term.


Position 2:

Applicants must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years or be willing to work towards it.

We are able to put our staff through a Level 3 qualification and would also be willing to take on an apprentice.

They should have experience of working with children within this age range.

The position will include being responsible for planning and delivering group sessions and adult led activities, setting up good quality activities to reflect the needs and interests of the children, supporting child initiated play and maintaining high quality assessment and records of the children in their care.

A thorough understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential if you are qualified. All applicants will be required to complete and enhanced DBS check.
