About Beatsons Building Supplies Ltd
Beatsons Building Supplies is one of Scotland's largest independent Builders Merchants.

We trade as Beatsons Building Supplies but have three other trading divisions of Beatsons Direct our ecommerce business, Beatsons Concrete our readymix concrete business and Skyline Roofing Supplies our specialist roofing merchant business.

We employ around 140 people across our 6 sites in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline, Penicuik, Errol & Stirling.

An opportunity has arisen for a full time External Sales Representative to cover our Dunfermline branches.

Working as part of a team, and reporting to the Branch Management Team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times.

Your key responsibilities include.

Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships
Maintaining and developing sales
Following up sales enquiries and quotations
Achieving and exceeding your sales targets
Play a leading role in achieving and exceeding branch targets
Understanding margins and costs
Continually develop and update your product knowledge
Developing productive relationships with our suppliers and their representatives

In possession of basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
Keen to learn and develop within the company
Full UK Driving licence
Minimum 2 years' external sales experience (Preferably builders merchant background)
Product knowledge of the following fields general building, landscaping, joinery, roofing or insulation products
