CLC Group Ltd is an established Property and Asset Maintenance Company with branches nationwide. We currently have a great opportunity for
Fire Door Surveyor to join our team in
Walsall.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage all site survey requirements.
  • Carry out or manage all door surveys.
  • Produce report on Robust details and dimensions for the QS to produce a price.
  • Estimate Timescales and skill sets required for any remedial work.
  • Report on site conditions (access, limitations etc.)

Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience working on fire doors
  • Thorough Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Knowledge of FIRAS accreditation and testing standards
  • Ability to undertake site surveys to scope and select appropriate solution.
  • Understanding of the importance of collating evidence for all completed works using systems such as bolster or site audit pro.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Desire to help grow the fire protection arm of the business and to be a member of a dynamic team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
NVQ or equivalent carpentry qualification

Asbestos Awareness

FIRAS audit requirements

All site workers will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.


A Full UK driving license is essential and home location to be able to easily travel to Walsall and the area serviced in the West Midlands area.

Hours:
You will work 39 hours each week, Monday to Friday.
