Description
Are you looking to make a difference to young people? Want to be part of a friendly, driven and supportive team where every day is different?

If your answer is yes then we are looking to appoint an inspirational Learning Support Assistant to join our motivated, welcoming and supportive Learning Support Team.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be responsible for working with mainstream classes and small groups of students outside and inside the classroom.

You will also have the opportunity to be a co-tutor, which means that you will provide support to a form tutor and belong to one of our five houses, with the aim of winning the prestigious 'House Cup' (we get pretty competitive).

Nearly 18% of our young people are identified as having additional needs/SEND and need our support in order to make the best progress they possibly can.

We strive to ensure that all students, regardless of their difficulties, have equal access to a broad and balanced curriculum and our Learning Support Assistants are integral to this.

Many of our students (and ex-students) speak about the lifelong impact that their Learning Support Assistants have had on them, helping them to believe in themselves, conquer their learning goals, overcome hurdles and set them up for a successful future.

At Sidney Stringer Academy we believe every child needs a champion, could that champion be you?
