Service Administrator

Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Head Office team based in Poole.

We are a growing business, providing a variety of engineering-based solutions within the food packaging sector - An awareness of working within a technical field would be helpful but is not essential.


You will report to the Service Manager and must be confident working as part of a team or using your own initiative.

To deliver reports, internal charging, process invoices and assist the service coordinator with daily tasks. High attention to detail is an essential part of this role.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing daily reports
  • Processing engineers' jobs sheets and any recommendations
  • Provide general admin support to our service coordinator
  • Follow up any quotes following engineer visits
  • Set up engineers' job sheets
  • Liaising with the spares team for any parts required
  • Invoicing & internally charging all job sheets
  • Monthly reporting
  • Booking engineers hotels & travel arrangements
  • Placing stationery orders

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both face to face and on the telephone


  • Strong admin skills

  • Word, Excel, Outlook are essential
  • Experience of various computer systems
  • Understanding of databases
  • Holds a positive and a 'can do' attitude to all tasks presented to them.

This is a permanent full-time job, Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00 - with 25 days holiday, plus Bank holidays - based at our head office in Poole.

Salary:
£22,000.00 per year

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
