The Role - Autism Therapist:
We are offering you the opportunity to work with autistic children of a variety of ages and abilities implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis.
You will be working alongside a team of caring & compassionate, dedicated, and highly-skilled individuals who make a positive difference to the children we care for.
You will be fully supported in your role, with highly intensive clinical support and training - typically every week - and opportunities to progress systematically within your role.
In addition, you will be paid for your commute time between clients' homes/nurseries/schools at a rate of £10.45 per hour and your mileage is paid at 40p per mile.
As one of our Autism Therapists you can expect to be:
- Implementing individualised intervention plan via one-on-one therapy sessions.
- Recording curriculum and behavioural data on a daily basis.
- Discussing concerns and observations of parents and carers with consultant, supervisor & other staff members.
- Attending weekly supervision by supervisory staff during therapy sessions.
- Attending monthly consultation sessions with consultant, supervisor and therapy team along with parents and carers.
In order to be successful you should have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in the Early Years Foundation Scheme.
- A clear Enhanced DBS certificate, 2 professional reference checks, and pass all other safeguarding and child protection checks in line with our safeguarding policy.
It would be great If you:
- Have an undergraduate degree in Psychology or a relevant field.
- Have ABA experience (preferred)
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
