Mission


The mission of the Paid Search Executive is to drive our expanding Paid Search efforts by ensuring our current multi-country and language accounts are following best practice and are generating positive ROI whilst proactively looking for and trialling new opportunities in order to increase reach.


It is expected that the Paid Search Executive will define Milexa's approach to Paid Search and become a thought leader in the space; this also requires close collaboration and knowledge exchange with the Paid Strategy Manager and the SEO Manager so that the business is able to expand its reach holistically across all paid channels.

This role also requires a close collaboration with our International & eComm Teams to work towards shared revenue targets and to create a consistent marketing campaign presence.


Role Overview


You will be working on a number of both English and foreign language paid search accounts covering various territories, both on Google Ads and Bing platforms.

You will take ownership of the day to day running and optimisation of the accounts and will constantly be looking for ways of improving and expanding our activity whilst achieving ambitious GP targets.


You will be working closely with the wider team on defining a Paid Search roadmap that is in line with the company's vision and targets, and you will be proactive in contributing to the success of the department.


Role Objectives & Outcomes/Goals

  • All engine tasks are completed at their assigned timeframes, helping ensure accounts are achieving monthly GP targets
  • Independently define and run testing plan and produce final reports accordingly, ensuring we're always testing and learning in order to maximise account performance
  • Work with external resources to rebuild paid search and shopping account structure in line with new best practices and business needs
  • Develop short and long term strategy for paid search using external and internal resource
  • Support Paid Strategy Manager in the onboarding of our Paid activity to new CRM and contribute to revised strategy on back of this
  • Collaborate closely with the eComm and International teams to help increase paid conversion rate in both english speaking and foreign language markets
  • Manage relationships with relevant external agencies and service providers

Role Responsibilities

  • Independently run Paid Search engine (daily account optimisation) for Search and Shopping campaigns across Google and Bing
  • Ensure all accounts are optimised according to Google best practice and our own revenue targets
  • Keep on top of new Google products and test, report and roll out accordingly
  • Work to expand Paid Search reach while ensuring we're matching or bettering target GP
  • Produce regular performance reports and forecasts whilst ensuring Revenue/GP targets are hit at all times
  • Continuously test & learn in order to improve customer experience and maximise ROI
  • Take ownership and ensure the delivery of paid search company projects
  • Work closely with international marketing team to improve paid search performance in our foreign language markets
  • Work closely with eCommerce team to improve the conversion rate of paid search traffic to the site
  • Educate fellow team members on paid search where appropriate

Requirements:


  • Minimum of three years experience in Paid Search & Shopping advertising (Google Ads and Bing)
  • Google Ads certified
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to pull reports using tools such as Excel to show and interpret data in order to inform decision making
