Position Overview:
JLL, a leading global real estate services firm, is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Escort to join our team in the United Kingdom.
As a Security Escort, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, employees, and properties.
You will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service, maintaining a secure environment, and assisting with access control procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Secure Environment: Ensure the safety and security of JLL premises by conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and promptly addressing any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Access Control: Perform access control duties by verifying identification, granting access to authorized individuals, and enforcing JLL's security protocols.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by being a welcoming and professional point of contact, answering queries, and providing accurate directions or assistance as needed.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations, including evacuations, medical emergencies, or the activation of fire alarms, following established protocols and providing necessary support to clients, visitors, and employees.
- Incident Reporting: Document and report all incidents, accidents, or other notable occurrences in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining proper records as required.
- Security Procedures: Adhere to JLL's security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, while proactively suggesting enhancements to security protocols.
- Collaborative Approach: Collaborate effectively with team members, JLL personnel, and external stakeholders to create a safe and secure environment, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment for all.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on industry best practices, attend trainings, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill set.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or a related field is preferred.
- Security Consciousness: Strong understanding of security protocols, procedures, and best practices, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels.
- Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, coupled with a professional and approachable demeanor.
