We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Patient Pathway Coordinator that is reliable, honest and hard-working, to join our dynamic team at this unique Private Eye Hospital and Eye Laser surgery centre.

Duties:


  • Booking patients appointments (consultations, postoperative checks and surgery)
  • Preparing consultations/post op notes notes.
  • Collect payments for surgeries, consultations and keep accurate record and provide receipts for patient.
  • Maintaining and developing relationship with optometrists network.
  • Ensure all cash payments/cheque and credit card slips handed to manager for safe keeping on daily basis
  • Open and close the clinic with appropriate security measures
  • Observe patient confidentiality at all times
Admin duties

  • It is essential that you are confident with Microsoft office
  • Outlook, Excel and Word and are able to use this as required
  • To collect and dispatch post, prepare letters and documents, receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • To maintain the customer database; invoice, collect and properly account for payments collected from patients.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of data
  • Maintain stock and supplies of stationeries
  • Assisting the employer in any other reasonable administrative tasks related clinical practice
  • Ensure that all patient records at are completed and correspondence sent to referrers in a timely manner and correctly before filing them in an efficient, tidy and secure manner (paper and electronic)
  • We have quarterly educational and sales events for doctors and optician this requires timely dissemination of information and feedback and to attendees and follow up calls for which training would be provided.
  • You would be expected to participate in the clinics quarterly sales /educational events which take place at 69pm approx. 4 times a year. Ample notice of event dates is published.
  • Liaise with referring clinician and opticians' reception/secretary as needed.
  • To undertake adhoc tasks
Scheduling

  • Work with staff to ensure there is no conflict of schedules around patient consultations.
  • Give adequate notice for leave (see policy) and plan leave by liaising with other admin/reception staff to ensure that reception is always covered.
Hours range between 8.30am to 8pm on Monday to Friday

plus one late finishe (9pm) per month and 1 Saturday (9am - 2pm) per month


Salary:
£23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London, N12 9RY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Patient Coordinator: 2 years (preferred)
