What makes this role unique?

This post is a pivotal new role providing high quality, impactful economic analysis to support strategic thinking in Thames Water, alongside leading and coordinating the business' work on behavioural insights.


What you will be doing?:


  • Provide economic thought leadership across the range of Thames Water's strategic priorities, delivering high quality influential advice to senior audiences.
  • Build a new function in Thames Water to coordinate the range of behavioural insights analysis, becoming the authoritative voice on such issues throughout the business.
  • Establish an external network of behavioural experts and practitioners, helping position Thames Water as a leading innovator in behavioural insights, and bringing together expertise from the range of relevant disciplines
  • Support and influence the wider economic work of the team in achieving positive regulatory outcomes to the benefit of both consumers and the business

What you will bring to the role?:

  • Ability to think innovatively, communicate ideas confidently, and challenge orthodoxthinking. Enthusiasm for building networks, reaching out, and bringing people together.
  • An understanding of regulatory issues is desirable but not essential.

As part of your role, you'll be required to participate in a rota to provideCustomer Incident Support, as requested by the Company from time to time.

This may be by supporting our customers on the frontline as an Ambassador or being part of the team managing the incident as a Control Tower Lead.
