Job Elements

  • The QC Laboratory Manager has responsibility for the quality control of the products within the laboratories.
  • The QC Laboratory Manager must ensure GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) is maintained to be sure that testing results guarantee that product supplied to customers is of the highest possible standard.
  • Team management / development and training
  • Timely release of stock
  • Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Review of customer testing requirements and integration into the laboratory.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the laboratories to meet objectives.
  • Management of nonconformances and reporting. To assist in investigations and facilitate the close outs.
  • Participation during customer & regulatory audits.
  • Degree educated in a science or engineering discipline.
  • Experience of working in a chemical, microbiological, biological or pharmaceutical laboratory.
  • Several year's quality experience in a 'lean culture' working environment
  • Experience in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement techniques & tools 5s, Kaisen etc.
  • Quality / Auditing experience in a 'lean culture' manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent standard of written English & Math's
  • Excellent communication skill & attitude
