Overview:

We are looking for a roofer for liquid and tiling works, on patch repairs and reactive repairs in and around London.

This will suit an experienced roofer or a young roofer looking to develop.

Duties:

Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
Install new roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
Repair damaged roofs by replacing broken or missing shingles, tiles, or flashing
Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
Install insulation and vapor barriers to ensure energy efficiency
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters or masons, to complete roofing projects
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when working at heights

Experience:

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints related to roofing projects
Proficient in using power tools and equipment commonly used in roofing work
Experience with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
Basic carpentry skills for repairing or building roof structures
