Personal Assistant - Adult Community Service - Band 4(Fixed term for 6 months with a view to extending to permanent pending recruitment)

The Adult Community Services Senior Management Team at Whittington Health NHS Trust are looking for a highly professional, motivated and

experienced individual to undertake an assistant role to support the Director of Operations, the Clinical Director, Associate Director of Nursing, Associate Director of AHP and the Business Manager.


This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team providing professional administrative support, resolving day-to-day problems independently, acting as a source of advice and guidance and to be the first point of contact for enquiries.

The main function of the post holder will be to support the Senior Management teams with various clerical commitments including assisting with preparation for the numerous Multidisciplinary Team Meetings (MDT) s that take place every day/week.

The post holder will engage with staff at all levels of seniority and therefore will need to demonstrate effective influencing and persuading
behaviours to ensure that deadlines are met.


You will also be the main point of contact for a wide range of staff, external stakeholders and organisations and must ensure that a professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times.

The role will support meetings chaired by members of the Senior Management Team, and it is important that you are experienced in managing and coordinating the preparation of agendas and are an excellent minute taker.


You will be expected to manage confidential, complex and sensitive information, exercising discretion and upholding high professional and ethical standards at all times.

The role will work closely with the Senior Management team for the Adult Community Service to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Integrated Clinical Service Unit (ICSU).

You will be a confident and clear communicator possessing excellent organisational, verbal and written skills with extensive experience in a senior administrative role.


You will also be required to have detailed knowledge of administrative procedures and be able to prioritise and plan your own work efficiently.


The post holder will be expected to manage and prioritise their workload independently, assist with organising diaries for all the divisional Directors, and cover routine duties for other members of the divisional team.


The personal assistant will act as an essential point of contact for all members of the division, senior managers and new appointees.
