We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for sewing and altering garments to meet customer specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in sewing and a passion for creating high-quality clothing.


Duties:


  • Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments
  • Use sewing machines, sergers, and other tools to complete sewing tasks
  • Take accurate measurements and make adjustments as needed
  • Follow patterns and instructions to create new garments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Seamstress or similar role
  • Proficient in using sewing machines and other sewing tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of different fabrics and garment construction techniques

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

Contract length: 26 weeks


Salary:
£13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
