Our client, a leading aerospace company are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join their team.The main function of the role is to support the business in all areas relating to Quality Assurance management.
You will also have direct communication and interaction with senior leadership at various levels.
Quality Assurance Lead Responsibilities:
To lead the Quality Assurance activities within the business ; specifically those areas associated with Quality Management Systems such as Internal Auditing, Risk Management, upholding of PEARs objectives, supply chain assurance and non-conformance management.
- Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance to all applicable requirements and customer standards.
- Plan and maintain the internal audit schedule
- Responsible for leading internal audits and facilitating 2nd and 3rd Party audits
- Manage and support the implementation of robust corrective and preventative actions.
- Lead auditor experience to perform audits against AS9100 standards on internal processes and within the supply chain.
- Leads tactical and strategic activities to achieve short and mediumterm Quality compliance objectives
- Lead RCCA and improvement activities to address quality issues, customer complaints and audit requirements.
- Utilise operating tools and methodology to increase efficiency and reduce costs and create a continuous improvement culture.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within an Quality Management Systems environment, preferably aerospace but other similar regulated management systems will be considered.
Full understanding of Quality requirements and contractual flow downs.
Strong organization, planning, and action plan execution capabilities.
Ability to manage effectively in a high pressure environment

£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
