Description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a SEN school in Plymouth. The role is to start ASAP and will be long term until the end of the academic year.

It is to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with secondary aged childrenwith social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only.

Must have experience of working with pupils with SEMH difficulties or other SEND experience.
Must have a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning in Schools.
Has supported or written IEPs or other support plans.
Will be able to communicate effectively with parents, carers and other multiagency partners.
Supporting pupils with mental health difficulties is advantageous.
Will have experience working with pupils who are primary and/or secondary aged.
Full driving licence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
