Teaching Personnel are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a SEN school in Plymouth. The role is to start ASAP and will be long term until the end of the academic year.

It is to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with secondary aged childrenwith social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only.

  • Must have experience of working with pupils with SEMH difficulties or other SEND experience.
  • Must have a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning in Schools.
  • Has supported or written IEPs or other support plans.
  • Will be able to communicate effectively with parents, carers and other multiagency partners.
  • Supporting pupils with mental health difficulties is advantageous.
  • Will have experience working with pupils who are primary and/or secondary aged.
  • Full driving licence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
