How You'll Perform the Role
Waddington Europe has a vacancy for an Interim Quality & EHS Administrator to work at our Milton Keynes site.

Responsible for ensuring the company operates in a safe manner and complies with Health and Safety legislation.

This role will be required to work a day shift, working 7.5 hours per day, full time.


What We Need From You

  • Ensure our hygiene standards are enforced and relevant to current requirements
  • Continuously assess employee H&S awareness
  • Enforce the requirements of our Health & Safety policy and systems in place
  • Carry out Environmental, Health & Safety and Hygiene internal audits
  • Assist HARMS and Risk Assessment systems
  • Ensure stock of PPE is available and issued to staff where required
  • Assist with awareness of legislative requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Produce weekly reports for management
  • Responsible for advising managers, Shift Managers on health and safety matters
  • Responsible for conducting, reviewing and updating all risk/COSHH assessments
  • Responsible for conducting, reviewing and updating all manual handling/repetitive task assessments
  • Responsible for conducting DSE assessments
  • Assist in the development of Quality & EHS policies and procedures to ensure legislative compliance and promote best practice
  • Act as deputy for the Quality & EHS Manager in their absence
  • Assist to develop and implement proactive and reactive monitoring systems
  • Ensure health surveillance conducted where required, meeting legislative requirements
  • Responsible for all health and safety/fire safety training implementation, including various forklift training
  • Provide assistance with the development of integrated systems, procedures and practices throughout the business.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment is maintained.
  • Abide by the company's environmental and quality management procedures.
  • Carry out any reasonable duties we request that are within your abilities, irrespective of grade/skill level.
