A unique opportunity has arisen with an €8bn Private Equity Asset Manager to join as a Managing Director and lead the business development for the firms expansion in EMEA.

The firm is primarily private equity focused but also has Real Estate and InfrastructureProducts out on the market.

The fund raising has been predominantly focused on the US but the firm has been making a larger push in EMEA with ambitious UK expansion plans.

Key responsibilities

Lead European business development, sales, marketing, and investor relations activities.
To build out a pipeline of suitable prospective investors in the EMEA institutional space.
Develop a business development and marketing strategy alongside the senior partners.
Attend regular meetings with the key potential investors
Manage relationships with existing and potential investors, updating them on the firm's activities and performance.
Work with the wider firm to ensure marketing and sales materials are of the highest quality.
Extensive knowledge and a successful record of raising funds from institutional investors
Experience in and knowledge of various private equity strategies
Bring a network of institutional investors to the business from EMEA.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team
C.12+ years working with investment management
