Production Line Supervisor

Full Time and Permanent.

Salary:
£30k plus achievable bonus scheme depending on experience and ability, plus discretionary Christmas bonus.

Hours: 44 hours over four shifts per week. Flexible days Monday to Friday. Shifts are based on 12 hours 6:30am till 7pm. No weekend working or bank holidays.

We are a well established family owned biscuit manufacturing business based near Wolverhampton.

Due to expansion we are looking for a Production line Supervisor.

Main Duties:

Effectively supervise a team of 4 / 6 people, ensuring the operators work to the defined standards of performance and behaviour.

Ensure production machinery is managed and kept in good order.
Ensure final product meets specification.
Ensure production targets are met.
Ensure all records and systems are completed and accurate.
Organise and complete product changeovers within the standard planned time.
Ensure all hygiene, cleanliness and HSE standards are met and food safety legislation is adhered to.
Control waste levels.
Assist in staff training.

You will be someone who takes a structured and organised approach with the ability to drive production targets. Attention to detail and communication skills are key to this role. You will be disciplined and thorough in your approach and have strong people management skills.

You will be a conscientious self-starter who is confident in their own abilities with an ability to identify and resolve issues.

You will be an assertive individual with the ability to work under pressure.

Education / Training
Must have driving licence

Experience
Minimum of 3 years previous production experience working within a food manufacturing / Processing environment.
