Salary:
Grade 2-3 SP2-6 (FTE £22,367 - £23,893 / Actual £10,858 - £11,599 p/a)


This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly improving special school, which joined Unity Schools Partnership multi-academy trust in June 2019.


At this exciting time for the school, we are looking for individuals with a passion for SEN to join our friendly, hardworking team and make an impact on the learning of our students.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible and prepared to assist pupils on a one to one basis as well as in small groups and whole class settings.

CAHCE or Childcare qualifications would be advantageous.

The school serves a catchment area that covers Ipswich and surrounding areas of Suffolk.

The main school is based on one campus, with the primary building constructed and opened in 2015 and a new, purpose-built secondary complex that opened in 2021.

The Reception and Pre-School site is opening in September 2023 on Bramford Lane.

The school is part of a collaborative, forward thinking Academy Trust of 32 schools.

Unity Schools Partnership will be creating a network of special schools working together as we have recently opened a new special school in Bury St.

Edmunds and have been approved to open another in Romford, as well as already having special schools in Ipswich and Haverhill.


You will be supported in your role by experienced special education leaders who will be available to offer advice and guidance as the school moves forward under their leadership.

Significant training and development is available through opportunities for professional development, research, teacher training and collaboration between schools and across phases.
