CDM Advisor/Principal Designer

£40,000 - £60,000 + Vehicle + Benefits

Coventry, West Midlands (Remote)


A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within a thriving Surveying organisation, who are experts in providing high-quality surveying and CDM services and advice for clients in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Due to continued success,our client is looking to recruit a CDM Advisor/Principal Designer located centrally as the position willl involve travel across the North West, Midlands and South Central areas.


As a CDM Advisor/Principal Designer, you will plan, monitor and co-ordinate health and safety risks in the design phase of refurbishment and rebuild projects in the residential and commercial sectors, caused by fire and flood damage.

You will act as PrincipalDesigner and advise clients on all H&S and CDM related matters, carry out site visits & audits and ensure that all Health & Safety documentation is fully compliant with current legislation.


The successful CDM Advisor/Principal Designer will possess:

  • NEBOSH Construction certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
  • HNC, HND, BSc or MSc in a constructionrelated field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a CDM advisor role or construction safety role
  • Excellent working knowledge of CDM2015 and H&S legislation
  • Tech/Grad/Chartered member of IOSH
  • APS (Association for Project Safety) membership is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Full driving license with a flexible approach to travel
  • Excellent client facing skills with the ability to understand clients' needs
A basic salary between £40,000 - £60,000 is on offer (dependant on experience & qualifications), along with a company vehicle and a very attractive benefits package
