Job Summary


Firstly you'll be joining a growing and experienced team with a great track record in Defence and National Security markets.

The Defense Client Executive role is key to our growth strategy within NetApp UK Public Sector business; as such you will be responsible for driving new business in a set of accounts within NetApp's Enterprise segment leveraging the full breadth of NetApp's hybrid-multi cloud portfolio.


You will be responsible for understanding your customers key deliverables and map a cloud appropriate technology strategy to support delivery of better public services against NetApp's portfolio, solving some of their most complex data problems.


Responsibilities:

Primary ownership and accountability for ensuring customer growth, satisfaction, and retention within the assigned book-of-business.
Manage a healthy and active pipeline to overachieve quarterly/yearly revenue growth targets.
Identify, develop, and close new opportunities for expanding your client's business volume.
Develop and maintain close relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers and buyers.
Proactively monitor and mitigate any risk the client's growth, satisfaction, or availability.
Own and influence all client's communications across the entire organization.
Job Requirements
Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions.
Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help customer make buying decisions.
Basic Qualifications
Demonstrable experience in IT enterprise sales.
Experience working with major Defence or National Security departments.
Work ethic that cannot be challenged and a sense of urgency to match.

Data-driven - you can "back of the napkin" it with the best, then go home and build a spreadsheet that brings understanding to any person doubting your strategy and decisions.

Education
IC - Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
