What you'll be doing**:
- Supporting the integration and delivery of the program of engineering activities
- Act as the Radar Team focal point for engineering activities relating to future contract and bid submissions
- Lead Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives to drive continued operational excellence and product improvement initiatives.
- Provide support to the Lead Consultant Engineer to manage cost and budgets in line with programme and project control team requirements
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience of Engineering Integration/Management
- Knowledge or experience of Supplier Management
- Familiar with Airborne Radar Systems Integration/Avionics/Mission Systems/Sensors
The Radar Engineering Team:
As part of a tight-knit team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment towards the delivery of world-class capability Radars into Typhoon Platform
Reporting to the Radar Lead Consultant Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the team's daily operational tasks and ensuring that they meet the required standards.
As a team leader, you will be managing multiple tasks and priorities. Your focus will be working closely with the Radar Lead Consultant Engineer to ensure that all project milestones are met, and that the final product meets the required specifications
To be successful, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire your team towards a common goal
