Description

Collection of clinical, offensive, sharps, domestic, recyclable, confidential, food waste and foul linen from wards and departments Movement of 770 litre commercial sized waste bins inside and outside the premises and roll cages of foul linen Follow work schedule and any additional requests from Line Manager within time allocated Maintain communication links with Team Leaders and Helpdesk with personal radio Report observed Health and Safety concerns Wear correct and clean uniform and PPE including high vis and protective gloves.

Maintain personal hygiene Correct use of Task Management system on Personal Digital Assistant hardware / update logs / paperwork To liaise with Clinical and Non-Clinical Staff regarding patient readiness, identification confirmed, requirements, means of transportation and destination prior to patient transportation Assist Clinical Staff, Transfer Teams and Escorts where requested when moving patients Complete any relevant logs / paperwork and / or update suitable systems where requested when collecting or returning patients.
