A brand-new opportunity has arisen for a Chief Commercial Officer to join a leading scientific software technology business based in Cambridge.

The Chief Commercial Officer be responsible driving all global sales, customer success and marketing activities and developing commercial strategy in line with Company's goals.


The company has developed a game-changing software package which is already revolutionising the life-science sector and has the potential to expand into other sectors.

The product is being used by chemists and other life-science professionals to guide decisions and improve efficiency in drug discovery.

As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will work with other members of the Executive Team and the company's Board to develop a company strategy and annual budget

  • Drive ARR growth of >2x by end of 2024 based on current and new product portfolio

The CCO will also be responsible for developing and executing a coherent Sales and Marketing strategy in line with the broader company strategy.

Essential requirements

  • MBA or similar qualification
  • A very recent and relevant track record of successfully driving all sales and marketing goals and commercial strategy for a hightechnology business.
  • Strong and recent sales/commercial experience developing commercial strategies
  • Experience of representing the Sales, Customer Success and Marketing functions at Executive and Board levels
