Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for a Technical Team Lead to join an established, Cambridge-based Technology Company. Responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance internally, you will be seen as a key member of the team.

Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Team Lead:

  • Serving as the go-to resource for technical matters
  • Providing expertlevel technical support and guidance to the wider business
  • Collaborating with the security team to monitor and investigate security incidents and vulnerabilities
  • Developing and maintaining information security policies, standards, and procedure
  • Acting as a key resource during cyber security incidents, providing expertise in incident handling, containment, eradication, and recovery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritise cyber security risks

Requirements for the Technical Team Lead:

  • Extensive technical team lead experience
  • Experience within a Microsoft environment
  • Some cyber security experience and/or knowledge
  • A genuine passion for cyber security and willingness to pursue certifications

Desirable is:


  • Certification(s), such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP and/or CCSP
  • Experience in Microsoft security services, products, and architecture such as Defender for End Point, Defender for Servers, Defender for Cloud, Log Analytics, Sentinel SIEM, Entra, Purview, etc
  • Understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus and data loss prevention
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
