Job Summary:


At our Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.

We are seeking to recruit a Personal Assistant to the Site Director for a period of 6 months Fixed Term Contract.

This is a large site, with circa.

1,500 team members, you will be part of a small team of 3 Administrative staff who contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing personalised and timely administrative support for the leaders of distinct business units.


Responsibilities:

As Executive Assistant to the Site Director, you will support the Site Director and:

  • Undertake day-to-day secretarial duties (administrative, travel bookings, diary management), as well as typically expense processing and reporting, meeting arrangements, and event support.
  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence

What you'll bring:

To help us make a difference, you'll bring your passion and talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

Essential:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Secretarial experience
- at Director or Senior leadership level


Desirable:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) or studying towards a degree in a relevant
- discipline (communications, events, PR or business administration)

  • Experience in a large multinational business

You are confident to say 'no' to requests where required, such as when they are out of scope for your role and/or your bandwidth does to reasonably permit To be successful in this role you must have Strong design, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities, someone whom can identify complex problems, decompose them and solve them.

You will be energetic and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
