We are pleased to share an opportunity to join Flagship Group's Asset Management Team, as the Electrical Compliance Business Partner.

The role is a permanent post, working 37 hours per week; Monday to Friday.

This is a field-based role and will require travel to and around Breckland, Cambridge, Mid and West Suffolk. Including Cambridge, Eley, Bury St. Edmunds, Diss and Thetford.

The role comes with Agile Working.


In this exciting role as the Electrical Compliance Business Partner, you will be first point of contact for electrical support out in the field and for any technical advice/queries.

Ensuring continuous improvement, in line with the obligations of the Flagship Services Scope of Service.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of electrical compliance.

Focussing on improving efficiencies and productivity by supporting and developing the electrical workforce, resulting in the delivery of excellent customer services.


You will also undertake the role of 'Qualifying Supervisor' and liaise directly with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contactors (NICEIC).

You will be responsible for the monitoring of certification and compliance with all necessary regulations.


Applications are welcomed for the role of Electrical Compliance Business Partner from those with previous experience of working on planned and responsive repairs, void works (un-tenanted properties) and periodic testing, within the domestic sector.

Including out of hours works and managing Sub-contractors.


You will have at least two consecutive years' of supervisory or managerial responsibility for the standard of electrical installation work.


You'll have a good knowledge and understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations and the codes of practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken.

Additionally, you will need to be computer literate with experience of all Microsoft packages.

Additionally, you will have the following qualifications:
Ø Current edition of BS 7671 (including latest amendments).

Ø City & Guilds , Requirements for Electrical Installations.

Ø City & Guilds , Requirements for Electrical Installations.

Ø C&G 2330 (parts 1, 2 & 3) - Electrotechnical Technology - if awarded in 2009 or after

Ø C&G 2350 (all modules) - if awarded in 2009 or after.

Ø SCOTVEC National Certificate in Electrical Installation
- if awarded in 2009 or after.

Ø NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Electrical Installation work
- if awarded in 2009 or after.

Ø EAL level 2 VRQ - Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers - 18th edition (9 modules)

Ø EAL Level 3 VRQ - 18th edition, Diploma in Requirements For Electrical Installations BS7671.


Ø City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations, and City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.

Ø City & Guilds Inspection & Test Level 3.

Ø City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installations in Dwellings.

Ø NICEIC Registered Qualified Supervisor.
