Job Description:

As the Buyer at McBraida Plc, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our procurement activities, particularly in sourcing raw materials and managing subcontracted processes.

You will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing function, administering orders, and have a role in optimising our supply chain processes.

This is a rewarding position that requires good collaboration, excellent relationship management skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the order administration process, including reviewing purchase demands, generating purchase orders, and tracking order status to ensure ontime delivery,
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, such as production, quality control and engineering, to ensure the efficient flow of materials and timely execution of subcontracted processes,
Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic performance reviews to drive continuous improvement and address any issues or concerns,
Implement and maintain effective supply chain management processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Required Experience and Skills:

Extremely strong attention to detail,
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail,
Strong analytical skills,
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders,
Having worked with, and have working knowledge of, different material grades would be a benefit.
