The Segex Team within Global Foreign Exchange is a global team that looks after the Algo and Fixing execution business within Foreign Exchange as well as Algo execution within Listed Derivatives Trading and is looking for a motivated team member to join us to help deliver and operate the client offering.

You will be overseeing our Algo engine, managing market risk in our Trading books, and face client requests.

Your key responsibilities include collaborating with the wider team, designing reporting solutions (Python), refining the operational frameworks under which we operate, and running the algo engine.

Your key responsibilities

  • Understanding customers' business objectives and solution design to independently monitor and exception handle issues
  • Manage all orders and market risk resulting from client orders
  • Work with developer and infrastructure teams to manage endtoend delivery of customer solutions
  • Rigorously test our solution designs to ensure the highest levels of performance
  • Support customers through golive processes and play a key role in promoting solution acceptance and adoption

Your skills and experience

  • Expertise in FX technology and business processes
  • Familiarity with Python and ability to understand Python errors
  • Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL)/ KDB databases
  • A willingness to learn in a fastmoving environment
  • Keen attention to detail
