Practice Manager (Low Vision & Learning Disabilities)
Job description

We are looking for a Practice Manager to join us in our gold standard Low Vision & learning disabilities service in London.


This is a new, permanent, full time role (although job share and 4 days/28 hours will be considered), based in our new office Grimaldi Park (a short walk from King's Cross and Angel stations).


What You'll Be Doing


As our Practice Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our commissioned low vision and learning disabilities services and GOS contracts run smoothly, and our patients experience the best possible care.


You will be liaising with key stakeholders to ensure that patients are at the heart of everything we do, and that our standards exceed expectations.

Working innovatively to develop our services both NHS and privately, your role will also include working closely with our optometry and low vision engagement manager to show case good quality low vision services, reinforcing the RNIB belief that everyone in the UK should be able to access good quality low vision services.


Who We're Looking For
To be our new Practice Manager, you will have experience of working in practices and people management.

This is an exciting opportunity which could be a great step for a dispensing optician with experience of running an optometry practice.


You'll be comfortable with computerised practice management systems and Office 360, being able to produce professional reports for our commissioners.

You will also be confident in your time management so as to meet strict timescales.


You'll enjoy thinking innovatively and developing business plans, with excellent attention to detail, and you will be comfortable with budget management.
