**Fixed term contract until 31 June 2023 | £27,344 to £29,439 per annum (Scale G) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

The External Funding Team is responsible for delivering the external funding programmes aspects of the County Council's Economic Development Strategy.

The team is responsible for supporting the Local Enterprise Partnership to deliver the European Structural Investment Funds and Strategic Economic Plan.


DRIVE is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is a new funding programme which will provide business advice and grants to businesses in the New Anglia LEP area.


The County Council is the accountable body for a number of funded European programmes and projects which the team manage and deliver.

We are also ambitious in our aim to secure more external funding for the County, especially in support of the corporate transformation programme.

These are high priorities in the strategy for Norfolk County Council. Limited resources mean that performance management and continuous improvement are critical to the success of the group.
