Matt's Bakery and Coffee Corner are recruiting for a Front of House Assistant to join their well-established Bakery & Coffee shop, with branches in Eastleigh and Chandlers Ford.

The Front of House Assistant will be the face of the business and will be passionate about delivering excellent service to their customers.

• Welcoming and assisting customers with their food & beverage orders
• Preparing sandwiches, buffets and hot drinks
• Operating the till and handling cash & card payments
• Ensuring the bakery is kept clean and safe
• Assisting with washing up, emptying bins and the organisation of equipment

To be suitable for the role of Front of House Assistant you should:

• have good communication skills

- have basic catering skills
- be flexible in your approach to work
- enjoy working as part of a team
- have the ability to use your own initiative and change pace where required

This is a part time flexible position working 15-20 hours per week, covering holidays, sickness and busier days.

The bakery & coffee shop is open 8am - 4pm, Monday to Saturday, however, you may be asked to work at the Chandlers Ford branch on occasions.

On offer is a generous hourly rate with staff receiving a free lunch during their working day.
