This ASD Teaching Assistant role would suit a graduate who is looking to widen their knowledge of working with students with Special Education Needs before starting a career as a Teacher, Educational Psychologist or Speech and Language Therapist.

**Primary Teaching Assistant position - ASD Non-Verbal Support Assistant
**Supportive school located in Newham, East London
**1 Year Fixed Term, Full-Time Teaching Assistant role at an ethnically diverse primary
**ASD Non-Verbal Support Assistant starting ASAP
**£70 - £90 a day depending on experience
**Graduate position only

To be successful in this teaching assistant role, you will be an industrious graduate who has the passion to work with students who have SEN.

You will be an adept individual who can express your desire to become a teacher or an educational professional anddemonstrate your caring attitude.

This Primary Teaching Assistant role will see you working as part of the SEN department, supporting SEN students in the classroom.

Day-to-day, you will be utilising not just the facilities available but also the support and guidance on hand in the form ofan experienced teacher who will act as your personal mentor when you join the school.

One of your tasks is to help SEN pupils meet their individual targets and the responsibility to lead groups and 1:1 sessions will be offered quickly.
